Learning and Development Opportunity

This role involves designing and delivering impactful training programs to enhance the skills of program staff and users of a Mental Health and Well-Being Connect Centre.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Learning and Development, adult education, and facilitation, with a proven track record of creating accessible and effective resources.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering training workshops and resources that cater to diverse learning styles;
  • Coordinating and facilitating peer support groups and yarning circles for centre staff and users;
  • Developing and implementing strategies to promote cultural safety and adherence to the Cultural Practice Framework;
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration with existing services.
Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Commitment to the organisation's values and vision;
  • Relevant certificates, diplomas, or degrees in Learning and Development or a related field;
  • Proven skills in group facilitation, content development, and resource creation;
  • Demonstrated experience working with vulnerable populations and carers;
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and organisations.
