Facilitation Specialist

The Facilitator Director is a pivotal role within our organization, overseeing the recruitment, training, and quality assurance of facilitators to deliver a high-quality service.
Required Skills and Qualifications\- \
- Hold a degree qualification as an Allied Health professional (Psychologist (educational/developmental preferred), Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Speech Pathologist)\
- Have 10+ years of experience working in/with schools\
- Excel at building positive team cultures, supporting team members, and enhancing individual skills\
- Possess strong project management abilities and are skilled in developing high-quality written materials collaboratively, from initial scoping through to final delivery\
- Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and confidently engage with diverse stakeholders\
- Take initiative, and work effectively under pressure with excellent attention to detail\
- Have an in-depth knowledge of Disability Inclusion reform in Victoria, the history and context of the progressive roll-out since 2021, and the systems in place to support the reform\
- Display a strengths-based approach to child development, neurodiversity, and disability\
- Are proactive in identifying emerging opportunities, improvements, and enhancements relevant to the delivery of a high-quality facilitator service\\
- Foster a balanced and nuanced understanding of priorities and pressures on various teams operating to support the reform\
- Lead a positive, supportive, and collaborative working relationship with internal and external stakeholders\
- Develop and implement effective strategies to enhance team performance and achieve desired outcomes\\
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote excellence in facilitation and disability inclusion\\
- Engage with stakeholders to build relationships, communicate effectively, and drive results\
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and research in disability inclusion and facilitation\\
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality facilitation programs\\
- Utilize data and insights to inform decision-making, drive continuous improvement, and optimize facilitation services\\
- Embark on ongoing learning and professional development to enhance expertise and stay current with industry trends\\
- Other responsibilities may be assigned by management as needed\\
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities while maintaining a customer-centric focus\\
- Capacity to manage competing demands, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment\\

- Familiarity with project management methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, an advantage\\
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for work purposes (if required)\\
