We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Resident Boarding Tutor.
Responsibilities- Scholarly Support: Provide academic guidance to students in Years 6-12, offering tutoring services for a minimum of 10 hours per week. Experience with Mathematics and Science subjects is advantageous, although support in all subjects will be considered.
- Overnight Duties: Perform overnight responsibilities from 10.00pm – 7.00am on four designated nights per week, accompanied by a paid allowance.
- Rostered Work: Engage in rostered paid activities to assist with early wake-up calls, accompany boarders on outings, supervise a house, provide additional tutoring, or organize extra-curricular activities – a minimum of 8 hours of supervisory time.
- Accommodation and Meals: Receive furnished shared onsite accommodation (furnishings must be provided) and meals during school term time, as well as power and internet access.
- Holiday Breaks: Accommodation is available throughout the year, including school holidays, but work is only required during term weeks.
- Hold a Paid Blue Card prior to appointment, or be eligible to apply.
- Have their name submitted to the Anglican Church's Professional Standards Register.
- Be able to uphold the Anglican ethos and Code of Conduct of St Hilda's School.
