Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in ecology, environmental science, environmental management, or a related field
  • Preferably, a minimum of two years' experience in consultancy or the public sector
  • Developing flora identification skills
  • Experience with field survey design and implementation
  • Working knowledge of Commonwealth and state legislation regarding ecology
  • Sound proposal and report writing skills
  • Developing project management skills, including managing budgets and delivery within set timeframes
  • Willingness to undertake long periods of fieldwork in both urban and remote locations
