The Desktop Support Officer provides front-line IT support across all brands, including technical assistance and troubleshooting for hardware and software.
This role is responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems, desktop hardware, software, mobiles, and related infrastructure.
Responsibilities include:
- Setting up, installing, and configuring computers and mobile phones with software and operating systems (Windows & Mac) and troubleshooting as needed;
- Vendor management of hardware and software providers, including purchasing and invoice management;
- Repairing and recovering from hardware or software failures on PC, laptops, printers, mobile phones, A/V conference equipment, and peripheral IT devices.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll bring experience in a similar position with high customer service standards. You enjoy helping others with strong technical abilities and excellent time management skills.
- Essential Experience:
- Strong customer service skills, including written and verbal communication;
- High attention to detail with proven capability of delivering quality solutions to identify problems;
- IT workflow tool experience, FreshService is favorable;
- Knowledge of Windows 10 Desktop and basic Mac troubleshooting;
- Hardware troubleshooting knowledge;
- Experience working with G Suite Software;
- Basics understanding of TCP/IP networking;
- Microsoft products Knowledge (Office and Windows Server 2012 R2+);
- Desired Experience:
- Agile Scrum experience;
- Knowledge of AWS connect.
