Food and Beverage Supervisor Job Description

Churchill-Waverley Golf and Bowls Club provides 36 holes of golf on two sites at Endeavour Hills and Rowville with seven-day member and public access.

This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences.

  • Oversee daily bar and food service
  • Deliver private and member events following handover from the Events Coordinator
  • Supervise, mentor, and support front-of-house service staff
  • Staff rostering, stock control, and cash handling
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the day-to-day operation of the bar and food services
  • Coordinate and execute private and member events with precision and attention to detail
  • Mentor and develop the skills of front-of-house service staff
  • Manage staff rosters, inventory, and cash handling with accuracy and efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Prior hospitality experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Current RSA and food safety certifications
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and evenings as required
