Engineering Management Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team.

This is a permanent full-time position that offers a great salary and other benefits.

The Role:

  • Assist in developing and managing services, growth, and development in Australia, Timor Leste, and Papua New Guinea.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to promote our organisation within Australia, Timor Leste, and Papua New Guinea, establishing networks and forming partnerships to assist with housing and construction development.

About You:

You will have significant management experience in an international context, with established networks in Australia, Timor Leste, and Papua New Guinea. You will be experienced in developing housing and construction activities.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in leadership, project management, and delivery to meet time and quality outcomes. You will also use your connections with government to promote our organisation as a partner in providing housing solutions and construction development.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare contract documents and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
  • Significant management experience in an international context.
  • Fluency in English and Tetum or Tok Pisin.
  • Established networks in Timor Leste and Australia.
  • Commitment to the right of every person to good quality housing.
  • Current driver's licence.
