To support this, the company is seeking to appoint a Director of Engineering Science, a key leadership role.ABOUT THE ROLEThe Director will be responsible for driving market share, increasing the firm\'s visibility, and differentiating its value proposition across the APAC region.
This role combines strategic leadership with client-facing and project delivery responsibilities, including accountability for financial performance and people management.
As a succession pathway to the Executive Leadership Team, the Director will play a central role in building Halliwell's leadership capability.ABOUT YOUThe ideal candidate will be recognized as a thought leader with strong connections in the engineering, legal, and insurance sectors.
Proven experience in leading medium-to-large operations and inspiring teams is essential, as is the ability to foster positive client relationships and promote collaboration across all levels of the business.
The successful candidate will unite diverse perspectives into a shared vision, engage teams, and drive Halliwell's continued growth and reputation in the market.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESBusiness Strategy and General Management: Responsible for formulation and implementation of the Engineering Science regional business plan, representing Halliwell in senior executive and client settings predominantly when related to engineering science expertise and offerings, and accountability for the financial performance of projects in the Engineering Science division.
Responsible for operational efficiency and proactive overhead cost management within the Engineering Science division.Client Relationships and Winning Work: Works in partnership with relevant Regional Director, Group Market Strategy and Regional Client Operations Manager to achieve forecast revenue through a differentiated offering and enhanced client experiences.
Responsible for promotion of the Halliwell brand regionally to achieve forecast growth.People Management: Accountable for development of a strong leadership team to drive performance, for leading, nurturing and growing a high-performing team, and for coordination between and across offices and disciplines within the Engineering Science division and beyond.Project Delivery: Accountable for delivery of all aspects of all projects within the Engineering Science business line.Governance: Responsible for compliance with company policies and procedures, and all legal and statutory obligations.IDEAL EXPERIENCESenior business leadership in a professional services environmentComplex team people leadershipCustomer Focus and Market LeadershipQUALIFICATIONSA Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant profession.
An advanced degree, such as an MBA would be valued.Registration or professional certifications to comply with local jurisdictional requirements.
