Job Overview:

The primary function of a handyman is to perform various tasks related to furniture inspection and repair.


- Assemble and disassemble furniture as required.
- Evaluate damages and select appropriate methods for repairing or restoring wood, leather, fabric, and upholstery items.
- Report on the outcomes of service calls and provide detailed explanations of solutions offered to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work independently with minimal supervision in customer homes and offices.
- Utilize hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement effective problem-solving strategies to address customer needs.

The Ideal Candidate:

- Possesses experience in a similar role, preferably in the industry.
- Holds strong knowledge of furniture assembly, disassembly, and repair techniques, including scratches, dents, and splits repair.
- Demonstrates proficiency in performing upholstery repairs, structural/internal mechanism replacements, and other related tasks.
- Exhibits excellent time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results and meeting deadlines.

Additional Requirements:

- Current Driver's License
- Valid Work Authorisation in Australia
