The ideal candidate will work in the field and support the Melbourne, Australia territory.
ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality customer support through instrument installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Install new equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation issues.
- Report problems and perform root cause analysis on instrument failures.
- Regular commute to and from customer sites, navigating within the region while following traffic laws and safely transporting necessary equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
A high desire for quality is essential for success in this role.
- Demonstrated experience working in both corporate and field settings.
- Ability to train non-technical personnel on complex technical material.
- Ability to work safely in environments with potential hazardous chemicals and biologicals.
- Willingness to learn new robotic operating systems.
- Valid Driver License and personal transportation with registration and insurance are required.
A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from a regionally accredited university is preferred.

- The equivalent combination of an Associate's degree or vocational training with at least two years of technical experience in electronics/electrical engineering, including the ability to troubleshoot electronics, electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
Technical field service and customer-facing experience in life science, clinical, or pharmaceutical industries is preferred.
- Automation experience is required.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills are essential.
