We are currently seeking a High Voltage Systems Control Engineer to support our esteemed client in the engineering sector. This role is ideal for a professional with significant experience in High Voltage systems, ready to tackle specialized electrical engineering projects.

While relevant qualifications and experience are preferred, we welcome candidates with equivalent mechanical and electrical construction backgrounds, relevant High Voltage engineering experience, or expertise in power systems maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in a diverse range of projects both domestically and internationally, under the guidance of the High Voltage team leader.
  • Perform design calculations for utility connections, generators, uninterruptible power supplies, renewable energy technologies, and related earthing and distribution systems.
  • Utilize industry-standard software tools such as CAD, ETAP, SafeGrid, and EOM.
  • Foster effective communication with clients and other engineering professionals.
  • Define project briefs in collaboration with clients.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of team members.
  • Lead by example and support the professional development of colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and technical precision.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
  • Strong understanding of electrical transmission and distribution systems.
  • A degree or HND in electrical or controls engineering is preferred, though relevant industry experience will be considered.
  • Willingness to collaborate with HV, MV, and LV teams within the organization.
  • A proactive, analytical, and problem-solving approach with a strong desire to learn.
