About the RoleAs a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of tax and accounting tasks. This includes client interaction, financial statement preparation and payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of tax returns, financial statements, payroll tax, CGT, GST, FBT, BAS, IAS, franking credits and division 7A loans.
- Reconciliation of bank account, wages and GST.
- Liaising with clients and the ATO.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A qualification in accounting with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a public accounting practice.
- Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency with Xero, MYOB, Class and Access software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as attention to detail and time management skills.
- A willingness to progress knowledge and career through professional development, with a motivated and team-focused outlook.
