Mental Health Nurse Specialist

As a dedicated and compassionate Comprehensive Mental Health Care Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care across various settings.
- Acute Mental Health: You will provide stabilizing support to patients in crisis, working closely with emergency teams to ensure timely interventions.
- Inpatient Units: You will administer medications, assist patients on their recovery journey and contribute to the development of personalized care plans.
- Community Mental Health: You will deliver case management services, conduct assessments and develop support plans that foster strong connections within local communities.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a RN with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in mental health nursing, including case management expertise
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Willingness to travel to regional/remote locations for extended periods
- Valid driver's licence, essential for traveling between healthcare facilities
Remuneration:
Estimated annual salary range: $60,000 - $120,000
