Mental Health Clinical Nurse

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic and rewarding role. As a key member of our mental health nursing team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.
In this role, you will provide high-quality care to clients with complex mental health needs across community and custodial settings. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, delivering recovery-oriented care, mentoring colleagues and contributing to safe, trauma-informed practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse who is passionate about mental health nursing to gain experience in forensic mental health and build their professional portfolio. The role offers flexible short-term contracts with potential for ongoing work and the chance to be part of a supportive regional health team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist nursing care to clients with complex mental health needs
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver recovery-oriented care
- Mentor colleagues and contribute to safe, trauma-informed practice
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration as a RN
- Experience in forensic or mental health nursing
- Current driver's licence and general criminal history check
