As a Senior Manager of Maintenance Performance, you will play a critical role in ensuring our road and tunnel network is safe, reliable, and performing at its best.

About the Role

You will lead the delivery of preventative and corrective maintenance across our Queensland road and tunnel network. This involves optimizing operational efficiency while achieving safety, reliability, and durability outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering the Annual Maintenance Plan across QLD through our core maintenance contractor, ensuring maintenance activities meet asset standards, contractual obligations, and compliance requirements.
  • Overseeing supplier performance, incident management, hazard reporting, and improvement initiatives.
  • Building strong relationships with contracting service organizations to optimize maintenance processes.
  • Leading a culture of health, safety, and environment excellence, ensuring policies and standards are embedded across all teams and contractors.

We are looking for someone with significant maintenance asset management experience in complex operational environments, ideally in infrastructure. You will also need strong compliance and risk management skills, as well as proven people leadership experience and the ability to develop high-performing teams.

This role requires a proactive, flexible nature and the resilience to adapt in a constantly changing work environment. If you have a background in roads or tunnel infrastructure, strategic leadership experience, or postgraduate qualifications in Management, Finance, or Risk Management, that's a bonus
