Clinical Assistant - Laboratory Support
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Assistant to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will provide support in the day-to-day operations of the core laboratory unit, working closely with other staff members to ensure the smooth delivery of pathology services.
Key Responsibilities:
The Clinical Assistant will be responsible for sorting, coding, data entry, aliquoting, parcel management, storage, and retrieval of specimens, as well as working any rostered shift within the 24-hour, 7-day service period.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Certificate III Pathology (or similar) or the ability to gain this qualification. You should also have awareness of human resource management policies and be able to contribute positively to a team environment.
Work Environment:
The successful candidate will work in a large and complex core laboratory unit, providing support to our busy and dynamic team.
