Strategic Cyber Security Operations Manager

The Role requires a strategic leader to manage Threat Hunt, Detection Engineering, and Automation capabilities for Defence systems.
This position involves collaborating with the broader Security Operations Centre to ensure effective security for Defence's systems.
A Positive Vetting clearance is mandatory for this role.
About the PositionThis individual will be responsible for overseeing the management of Threat Hunt, Detection Engineering, and Automation capabilities.
They will work closely with the team to identify and mitigate potential threats to Defence systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing threat detection strategies
- Maintaining awareness of emerging threats and technologies
- Collaborating with the broader Security Operations Centre team
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in cybersecurity operations
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills
- Able to obtain and maintain a Positive Vetting clearance
