Job Summary

This role is an opportunity to drive strategic project delivery and support the growth of our organization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a key project within our Program, focusing on scaling software and service delivery within defined scope, time, cost, and quality constraints.

This individual will also play a crucial role in supporting program reporting, governance, dependency management oversight for other initiatives in the Program.

We are looking for a highly skilled project manager with experience in managing complex projects in software and business operations scalability outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have advanced project management skills, including experience in different project management frameworks, such as waterfall and agile.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage end-to-end project delivery from initiation through to closure, ensuring effective deployment of project management disciplines to achieve quality outcomes and increase project delivery success.
  • Project Planning: Define project goals, success measures, delivery constraints, and clarify alignment from the start.
  • Scope Management: Document project scope (In/Out) and deliverables ensuring alignment to project goals and objectives.
  • Roles & Responsibilities: Implement an appropriate project governance framework outlining roles and responsibilities of individuals involved in the project.
  • Resource Management: Define resource requirements and manage resource availability and allocation – both internal and third party.
  • Change Requests: Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope, schedule, and/or budget.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress, monitor key performance indicators, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders and management.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience managing complex projects in software and/or business operations scalability outcomes within a Fintech or small business.
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Management, or related field.
  • PMI or PMP certification or similar from an accredited organization.
  • Advanced project management skills with experience in different project management frameworks, including waterfall and agile.
  • Deep expertise in the wealth management industry, superannuation, or investment products, with experience in wrap platform environments.
  • Experience interacting with Board & Executive Management.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project.
