Job Summary

This role is for an experienced commercial leader to oversee financial, contractual, and commercial performance across multiple projects.

The Opportunity

You will work strategically to protect profit margins, mitigate risk, and support project delivery with commercial clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage contract negotiations, procurement strategies, and subcontractor terms
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasting, and cost reporting
  • Lead variations management, claims resolution, and contract risk mitigation
  • Provide commercial insight and advice to project leadership and the executive team
  • Maintain compliance with industry and statutory quality, safety, and financial standards
  • Build strong internal and external relationships with clients, subcontractors, and consultants
About You
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
  • Have 5+ years of commercial leadership experience within a commercial construction business
  • Be an analytical thinker with proven ability to manage profit and loss, contract negotiation, risk, and commercial strategies
  • Be a confident communicator and negotiator across project and client relationships
  • Be highly organised and commercially astute, with a drive for profit protection and delivery excellence
