We are seeking skilled Welders for ongoing work in Western Australia. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and insight into major operations.

Working closely with experts, we offer industry-leading up-skilling opportunities and support your future growth. You will contribute to high-profile projects in the region, participating in pre-start and toolbox meetings, developing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)'s, and following client safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in Step-Back 5x5 four quarters program
  2. Draw, read, and interpret drawings
  3. Recognize and safely use welding equipment
  4. Measure with graduated devices
  5. Manual heating, thermal cutting & gouging
  6. To have a good understanding of metals and weld technology
  7. Weld using manual metal arc welding process, gas metal arc process, gas tungsten arc welding process
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' proven experience within relevant discipline
  • Previous experience within the mining & resources industry or similar
  • Certificate of Competency in Welding
  • Nationally accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card)
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors
  • Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rates of pay ranging between $43.00 - $66.84 (qualification/experience and project dependent)
  • Standard working week of 42.5 – 50 hours, working 8.5 - 10 hours per day with additional penalty rates offered for overtime, weekend and public holiday work (site and project dependent)
