Electrical Tradesman Apprenticeship Pathway

Becoming an electrical tradesman is a well-regarded, challenging and rewarding pathway. In this role, you will work closely with our dedicated team to undertake a range of duties including residential installation and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment.

As part of the electrical trade, you would be employed to undertake caballing and wiring, and diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions. This requires strong communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment and follow complex instructions.

Key Requirements:
  • Motivation and genuine interest in the electrical industry
  • High level organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to learn on-the-job and develop new skills

On completion of your apprenticeship, you would receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Electrotechnology.

Necessary Documents:
  • Current driver's license and reliable transport to get to and from work
  • Working with Vulnerable People card (or ability to gain one)
  • Knowledge of safe working practices and WHS requirements
