Assistant Company Secretary Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to cover company secretarial needs of our global organization.

The role reports to the Legal Counsel & Deputy Company Secretary and will play a key part in managing all company secretarial tasks at a group level and across business regions.

  • Ensure compliance by supporting multiple corporate housekeeping requirements and maintaining company registers, books, and other documentation.
  • Support the audit process alongside the Deputy Company Secretary on regional rectification processes.
  • Proactively support regional teams/subsidiaries with local company requirements such as ad hoc queries and ensure adherence to governance standards, legal requirements, and delegation of authority.
  • Support board meetings and resolutions throughout the Group (e.g., board packs and minutes).
  • Assist group projects (e.g., dividends, capital reductions, incorporations, and dissolutions).
  • Support the business with reverse KYC requests using a third-party provider.
  • Manage external legal spending, obtain estimates, and instruct counsel on acceptable fee levels.
