Open Space Maintenance Contract Specialist

This is a pivotal role where you will be responsible for supporting the planning, monitoring and coordination of contractor-delivered open space maintenance services across the municipality.
The successful candidate will work closely with team leaders to ensure quality and compliance of mowing, horticulture, and open space contracts.
- The role will involve preparing work orders, monitoring contractor performance, and service standards.
- Additionally, the contract officer will support the development of improved contract systems and processes.
The ideal candidate should have experience in contract administration, monitoring, or open space maintenance services.
Strong communication and organizational skills are required, as well as ability to manage data, documentation, and performance tracking.
A proactive, collaborative, and eager individual who can contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement is desired.
Requirements- Formal qualification in addition to relevant experience, ideally Certificate IV, Diploma, or Degree.
- Demonstrated experience in parks management, horticulture, or related discipline is essential.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in computer software and systems.
- Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety practices and procedures.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
