Job Overview

The Electrical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of maintenance employees. Key to this is adherence to internal and external policies and standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage site electrical maintenance requirements on a day-to-day basis.
  • Lead a team working on a rotating roster, providing coverage 24 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
  • Schedule work, manage breakdowns, maintenance, and improvement projects.
  • Ensure downtime targets are met.
  • Manage consumables, purchase requirements, and escalate any nonconformities.
  • Oversight of safety standards, procedures, and processes.
Requirements:
  • A qualification in an Electrical Trade/Electrical License.
  • Knowledge of AS/NZ S 3000.
  • Experience with maintenance software systems.
  • Background in manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge and experience in safety procedures.
  • Able to read electrical schematics/drawings.
  • PLC experience.
  • VSD experience.
  • Previous experience managing an electrical team in a production environment.

This position demands hands-on leadership, effective maintenance management, and process oversight.
