Front Office Team Lead

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front Office Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Front Office, supervising team members, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office team.
  • Supervise and monitor team members with strong leadership abilities.
  • Take initiative to ensure all interactions with guests are positive and productive.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel's operation in the absence of the General Manager/Senior Managers.
  • Actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by guests/customers to reach a win-win situation.
  • Process and assist with check-in and check-out of guests when needed.
  • Respond to and coordinate emergency situations.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience in the hotel industry.
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and Opera.
  • A guest-obsessed focus with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to extend themselves to assisting colleagues where needed.
  • Clear and confident communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Availability to work across a 7-day roster including overnight shifts.
