Medical Receptionist Position

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic medical receptionist to work on a casual basis, primarily on Saturdays. This role is ideal for those who value flexibility and variety in their work.

About the Role:
  • This position involves working as part of a busy team in a General Practice setting, where you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors;
  • You will provide administrative support to our clinical team, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone calls and correspondence;
  • Maintaining accurate and efficient management of patient data is crucial, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations at all times;
  • You will also assist with various tasks as required, such as scanning documents, filing, and answering queries from patients and staff;
  • Your interactions with patients, visitors, and colleagues must reflect a high level of professionalism, friendliness, and courtesy at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in a General Practice setting is essential for this role;
  • Proven customer service skills are also a requirement;
  • Australian Work Authorisation is necessary for this position.
