
Independent Living Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis.
This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality direct care services and supporting people with disabilities in achieving their personal goals.
- Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support clients with daily living activities and personal care needs, either individually or as part of a team.
- Facilitate community access opportunities for clients, including social events and medical appointments.
- Maintain accurate documentation to monitor and report on client progress and health care.
- Implement educational, skill development, and social activity programs for clients.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing clients' Individual Support Plans to ensure personalized care.
The successful candidate will have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, while demonstrating a commitment to delivering exceptional care and support to our clients.
Requirements- Certificate III in Disability Services or Individual Support or acceptable alternative.
- A commitment to undertake a Certificate III in Individual Support within 6 months of starting, and to complete it within 2 years of employment.
- Valid Working with Children check (WWCC) - employers check.
- Valid NDIS Worker Check.
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
- Completion of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission - New Worker NDIS Induction Modules and Worker Orientation Module.
- Experience working with people with a disability and their families.
- Experience working in community-based human services.
- SCHCADS Award 2010 Level 2 $32.21 per hour + super + 25% Casual loading.
