Expert Fire Protection and Hydraulic System Designer

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection and Hydraulic Engineer to join our team of passionate professionals. As a leading management and technical consultancy, we operate across all sectors, tackling complex challenges in the built environment.
Our Property and Buildings team is engaged in a diverse portfolio of projects, with a focus on key initiatives in transport, defence, education, and commercial sectors. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative network working on wet and dry fire designs and hydraulic systems, with opportunities to lead small to medium-sized projects and support larger initiatives.
About the Role- Design and document fire protection systems (wet and dry) and hydraulic services from concept through to construction
- Evaluate compliance with technical, commercial, safety, and regulatory standards (AS/NZS, NCC, etc.)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design challenges and deliver coordinated solutions
- Interface with clients, authorities, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Building Services) or equivalent industry experience
- 2–5+ years' experience in Australian building services consulting
- Strong knowledge of fire protection and hydraulic engineering design and documentation
- Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards and Building Code of Australia
