About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Systems Manager to join our team at the Navy Aviation System Program Office (NASPO). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing planning, management, and development of the NASPO Engineering Management System (EMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide aviation technical support and services in the areas of engineering and technical activities associated with 21 J, CAMO, and MTCH obligations, as well as general CASG quality requirements.
  • Optimise the NASPO EMS to maximise DASR flexibility.
  • Develop outcome-focused EMS to support the Deputy Chief Engineer.
About Our Team

NASPO is responsible for supporting current Navy Aviation capabilities while developing and supporting new technologies into the future. Our team is a specialised aviation engineering team embedded within NASPO, providing core-engineering design and technical support services for NASPO managed Aviation platforms.

Requirements
  • Demonstrated high level of knowledge in ADF aviation operations and associated policy/regulations.
  • Demonstrated high level of knowledge in the Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASRs) and CASG Quality requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills, including strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability.
  • Demonstrated experience in working in organisations providing complex engineering or technical services.
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and data visualisation skills.
