The Engineering Systems Manager is a critical position within the APS, responsible for providing strategic leadership and technical expertise to the Navy Aviation System Program Office (NASPO). As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and development of the NASPO Engineering Management System (EMS).
Key Responsibilities- Aviation Technical Support: Provide expert technical support and services in the areas of engineering and technical activities associated with 21J, CAMO, and MTCH obligations, as well as general CASG quality requirements.
- EMS Optimization: Lead the optimization of the NASPO EMS to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Outcome-Focused EMS Development: Develop an outcome-focused EMS that maximizes DASR flexibility and supports the achievement of key objectives.

What We're Looking For- High-Level Knowledge: A high level of knowledge in ADF aviation operations and associated policy/regulations, as well as the Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASRs) and CASG Quality requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in working in organizations providing complex engineering or technical services.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills, including strong emotional intelligence, resilience, and adaptability.
- Conceptual and Analytical Skills: Strong conceptual, analytical, and data visualization skills.
