As a Regional Clinical Director at Greencross Vets, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of veterinary services across multiple clinics in the Sydney region. You will work closely with our team of talented veterinarians and support staff to foster a culture of collaboration and high clinical standards.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced veterinarian to lead our team of clinicians and support staff in the delivery of exceptional veterinary care. As a Regional Clinical Director, you will be responsible for:
- Undertaking clinical days to work with the various teams, building rapport and understanding how to support each individual team.
- Overseeing and guiding veterinarians and clinic teams within your designated region.
- Ensuring the delivery of exceptional veterinary care, adhering to high quality standards and professionalism.
- Conducting regular training and development programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge within the teams.
- Implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes, client satisfaction, and overall clinic performance.
- Ensuring the safety of our teams by reviewing compliance safety controls and adherence to Veterinary Surgeons Board Guidelines and Legislation.
- Collaborating with the General Manager, Area Managers, Chief Veterinary Officer, and other Regional Clinical Directors to drive high standards of care and best practices.
- Supporting the recruitment and onboarding of veterinarians and staff within your region.
- Staying up to date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine and technology.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Veterinary Medicine and registration to practice in New South Wales.
- Proven leadership experience in a veterinary setting, with a track record of successful team management.
- Advanced skills such as memberships, particularly in small animal surgery with the ability to perform orthopaedic surgery, would be viewed favourably.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
- Passion for delivering excellent veterinary care and driving continuous improvement.
- Innovative mindset and the ability to adapt to the evolving veterinary industry.
- Willingness to travel between clinics within the region and assist other regions with leave or extra workloads.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
$140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience
