Injury Management Role

We're seeking a skilled Injury Management Advisor to join our team of dedicated professionals.

As part of a collaborative and dynamic team, you'll provide expert advice and assistance to promote cost-effective injury management and durable return-to-work outcomes.

This role will involve working closely with Operational leaders to drive claims strategies where rehabilitation referrals occur.

About the Job

You'll be responsible for providing specialist technical injury management assistance/advice to claims teams.

  • Collaborate with Return to Work Specialists and Return to Independence Specialists to enhance injury management capability.
  • Review and support decision-making for complex treatment and surgery requirements.
  • Work closely with Team Managers, Technical Trainers, and Return to Work Capability Managers.
  • Assess and review proper use of rehab referrals.
  • Identify opportunities for peer-to-peer discussions and group learning to remove complex return-to-work barriers.
Your Background
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Claims Management/Injury Management within workers compensation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation industry business and administrative practices.
  • Experience influencing outcomes where complex claim barriers are identified.
