Our company seeks a skilled Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing trailers, ensuring they are in top working condition.

This position involves routine maintenance checks and preventative maintenance on brakes, tires, steering, suspension, and other mechanical and electrical systems. You will also troubleshoot and diagnose problems, install accessories, and make upgrades or modifications as needed.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong mechanical aptitude, be able to work independently and in small teams, and possess excellent communication skills. A valid driver's license and good driving record are also required.

Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to brakes, tires, steering, suspension, and other trailer systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and preventative maintenance on brakes, tires, steering, suspension, and other mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Install accessories and make upgrades or modifications on new and used trailers.
  • Address customer concerns, provide service updates, and work with customers to resolve issues.
  • Accurately complete work orders, test trailers, and maintain records of service performed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience required.
  • Equipment repair experience with a focus on trailer maintenance and repair.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required to drive company owned vehicles for testing.
  • Ability to work independently and in small teams with good communication skills and attention to detail.
