The role of a Heavy Diesel Fitter involves performing maintenance, repairs, and servicing on heavy earthmoving equipment. As part of our team, you will work in a brand-new rebuild workshop facility with an overhead crane, conducting major rebuilds of mobile fleets.

This position requires post-trade experience in maintenance, diagnosis, component changeouts, and servicing of heavy earthmoving equipment. A Trade Certificate as a Plant Mechanic or equivalent is essential, along with a valid Australian Driver's license and citizenship or visa.

We have various roster options available to suit your lifestyle, including 5/4, 5/4, 5/5 rotating rosters, Monday-Thursday 12-hour day shifts, 5/2, 4/3 day shifts, and Monday-Friday 10.5 hour day shifts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance, repair, and servicing of large-scale mobile mining equipment
  • Rebuilding of CAT trucks, dozers, and graders
  • Advanced breakdown and failure diagnostics
  • Routine servicing, repair, and maintenance of mobile mining equipment on multiple sites

About You:

  • Trade Certificate as a Plant Mechanic or equivalent
  • Valid Australian Drivers license
  • Valid Australian Citizenship or visa
  • Post-trade experience in maintenance, diagnosis, component changeouts, and servicing of heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
