About the Role

Ability Action Australia is seeking a highly skilled Allied Health Practitioner - Behavioural Services to join our team as a Behaviour Support Practitioner. The successful candidate will have current suitability at the Proficient level, as confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective support plans that meet the unique needs of each NDIS participant
  • Work collaboratively with participants, their families, and carers to achieve positive outcomes
  • Mentor and support less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners within the team
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in Behaviour Support
What You'll Need
  • Current suitability - confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission - at the Proficient level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
  • Completed a degree-level qualification as an allied health professional
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality Behaviour Support services
