Hydrogeologist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Hydrogeologist to join our team. As a Hydrogeologist, you will work on large-scale projects, primarily in the resource sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct hydrogeological assessments, including data collection, field data interpretation, site investigation planning, and coordination.
  • Participate in field programs, such as drilling, aquifer testing, water sampling, field mapping, bore completion, and contractor management.
  • Collaborate with geoscientists across various projects and learn from their expertise.
  • Support other projects as needed, particularly larger geosciences, engineering, and environmental studies.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or Geosciences is required.
  • A Post-graduate degree in Hydrogeology is preferred.
  • Two or more years of professional experience in hydrogeology, encompassing field work and office work.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for field assignments.
  • A full driving license is required.
  • A positive attitude and effective time management skills are essential.
