Health Promotion Specialist Opportunity

We seek an experienced and dedicated individual to fill the role of Health Promotion Specialist. This dynamic position will involve working on a range of preventative health promotion projects aimed at reducing harm associated with gambling across various community settings.

The selected candidate will be part of a small, energetic and inclusive team working across Melbourne's North and North West. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, expertise as a Health Promotion Specialist and motivation to develop and deliver engaging workshops and presentations, assist with planning and development of high-quality health promotion strategies, engage with communities and stakeholders, and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging workshops and presentations
  • Assist with planning and development of high-quality health promotion strategies
  • Engage with a broad range of communities and stakeholders
  • Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team

Requirements:

  • Qualifications or commensurate relevant work experience in Health Promotion, Public Health or Community Development
  • Experience delivering presentations, particularly to at-risk populations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational and time management skills
