Job Title: Eating Disorder Clinician

This role is a vital part of the NSW Service Plan for people with eating disorders, aiming to strengthen pathways to care and drive the implementation of evidence-based practice. You will be working within Network Mental Health services as part of a district-wide eating disorder team, providing consultation liaison and capacity building to mental health services, medical services, dietetic services, and other service partners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing intensive short-term care coordination for individuals with eating disorders requiring a multi-systemic collaborative care approach.
  • Delivering innovative, evidence-based intervention approaches in individual or group format as a specialist service in addition to mainstream provision.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical skills and substantial experience in delivering eating disorders services, along with proven advanced communication skills and the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated competence in electronic information systems is also essential.

Employment Details:

  • Permanent Part-Time Position
  • 24 hours per week
  • Classification: Health Clinician Level 4 (CNC1/Clin Psych/Snr Psych/SWkr/OT)
