Electronic Technician Role: We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team in Melbourne, Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a global organisation and contribute to the maintenance of their electronic systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting a group of technicians in the production department. This will involve hands-on manufacturing and testing of electronic and computer assemblies. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in crimping, soldering, metalwork assembly, and testing of electronic equipment.

Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication skills and be willing to work as part of a team. A tertiary qualification in Electronic Engineering is preferred but not required.

This contract role is initially 3 months with extensions based close to the Melbourne CBD. Working hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, 5 days a week.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manufacture and test electronic and computer assemblies
  • Assist other technicians in the production department
  • Complete Factory Acceptance sheets and other documentation as required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in electronics manufacturing and testing
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Tertiary qualification in Electronic Engineering (preferred)
