Production Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Production Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing technical support to production teams, maintaining and improving equipment, test systems, and tooling to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and resolve issues with production equipment to minimize downtime.
  • Test System Maintenance: Assemble and maintain functional and diagnostic test sets for electronic components and assemblies.
  • Process Improvement: Assist in implementing new manufacturing processes and equipment for product introductions and process changes.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of test systems and perform periodic calibration and compliance checks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Electronics Technology or Related Field: A diploma or degree in electronics technology or a related field is required.
  • Experience in Electronics Manufacturing: At least 3 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or test system support roles is necessary.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of electronic assembly, test equipment, and diagnostics is essential.
  • CAD Tools and Automation: Familiarity with CAD tools such as Solid Works for jig and fixture design and test automation tools like Lab VIEW is an asset.
