The Reece Group is a leading international company with exceptional values and customer focus, supplying plumbing and bathroom products to plumbers and retail customers.

They also have several specialty businesses such as Irrigation, HVAC-R, Bathroom Life, Onsite and Civil, acquired refrigeration and air conditioning businesses Actrol and Metalflex in 2013.

The staff of the Reece Group continuously aim to provide friendly and expert customer service to ensure they are the best in the business.

We are partnering with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd to look for Year 10 students to undertake School–based Traineeships where you will work towards a Certificate II in Warehousing Operations.

The traineeship will involve working in a Reece branch as well as completing certificate requirements, e.g. workbooks, on the job training and assessments.

This position is based at our Plumbing Byron Bay location.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Embracing the Reece Values: Embracing the Reece values, policies, and procedures.
  • Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to our clients.
  • Certificate Requirements: Completing all requirements of the Certificate II in Warehousing Operations.
  • Processing Sales: Processing sales and managing stock inventory.
  • Stock Management: Maintaining accurate stock levels and managing inventory.
  • Phone Duties: Answering phone calls to take messages and orders.
  • Communication: Communicating effectively with customers and staff.
  • Product Knowledge: Building product knowledge and staying up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Follow-up: Providing follow-up to customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintenance: Contributing to maintaining the branch at a high standard.

Students will be required to work approximately one and a half days per week, with Saturday availability a must. Additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to assist in your progress.

A competitive salary of $25-30 per hour is offered, making it an excellent opportunity for students to gain valuable work experience while earning a good income.
