As a plumbing trainee with the Reece Group, you will be part of a leading international company that prides itself on exceptional values and customer focus. The Reece Group's core business is supplying plumbing and bathroom products to plumbers and retail customers, as well as operating several specialty businesses such as irrigation, HVAC-R, and bathroom solutions.
The role involves working in a Reece branch and contributing to maintaining the high standard of the workplace. Key responsibilities include embracing the company's values, policies, and procedures, providing excellent customer service, processing sales, managing stock, answering phone calls, communicating with customers and staff, building product knowledge, and offering follow-up support to customers.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should possess good written and verbal communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude. You should also be willing to learn new things, work as part of a team, maintain a tidy workspace, and present yourself professionally.
Working as a school-based trainee, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and develop your skills in a real-world setting. This position is ideal for Year 10 students who are looking to build their confidence, independence, and employability skills while earning a wage.
In exchange for your hard work and commitment, we offer an estimated salary of AU$18.00 per hour (approximately AU$42,960 per annum based on a full-time schedule), plus additional benefits and opportunities for career growth and development within the company.
