The Role
As a Mechanical Supervisor at Orora, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing plant. This includes leading a team of fitters, planning and executing preventative maintenance activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize production
- Collaborate with external labor and services suppliers to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities
- Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Liaise with relevant personnel to ensure accurate and timely purchasing activities
About You
- Hold a Mechanical or Electrical Trade certificate or Engineering Degree
- Have experience working in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Exhibit excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Have prior leadership experience and the ability to lead employees and contractors
