As a Mechanical Engineering Group Supervisor at Bechtel, you will play a key role in leading design, development, modification, and evaluation of mechanical components and processes for our mining projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Leading teams providing technical aspects and support of supply chain lifecycle for large equipment packages and contracts on single projects
- Developing conceptual designs for mechanical engineering projects or projects having specialized or unique requirements
- Communicating complex technical issues and recommending solutions to upper management
- Supporting preparation of estimates, staffing needs, and schedules
To succeed in this role, you will require a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience, or 14-17 years of relevant work experience. You should also have experience in mining and minerals processing plants, as well as knowledge of systems, calculations, equipment, applications of methods and materials in the mechanical discipline.
As a Bechtel employee, you can expect a competitive salary range of $145,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
