Drill Fitter Position

Roc-Drill Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Drill Fitter to join our team at McArthur River Mine in the Northern Territory. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality operation of our drill rigs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drill rigs, including Epiroc drill rigs and other heavy machinery
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure equipment is operating within safety and performance standards
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve maintenance goals and objectives
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance
- Trade certification in Diesel Fitting
- Experience working with drill rigs and heavy machinery in the mining industry
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
