Mine Waste Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, assessment, and operation of tailings storage facilities (TSFs) and associated infrastructure. This exciting opportunity presents a unique chance to contribute to the success of our projects in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and assessment of TSFs and other mine waste facilities, ensuring that all solutions meet strict environmental and safety standards.
- Collaborate with specialists in geotechnical and civil analysis, modeling, and reporting to provide high-quality technical deliverables.
- Contribute to site investigations, inspections, and construction support, applying your knowledge of geotechnical and civil principles to drive project success.
- Prepare detailed drawings, calculations, and reports, showcasing your expertise in mine waste management.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop client relationships and build your consulting skillset.
Requirements:
- A degree in civil, geotechnical, or mining engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years' relevant experience in tailings, geotechnical, or mine infrastructure design.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior consulting experience is an asset but not essential; we are looking for talented professionals who can grow with our company.
- Ability to travel to site as needed, with a willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
