About the Role:
  • Collaborate with a global team of expert tailings engineers
  • Pursue a challenging role in delivering high-quality engineering, geoscience, and environmental services
  • Travel to project sites across Australia and worldwide

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on large-scale, world-class mining projects including the design and construction of tailings residue and waste storage facilities, water management structures (for example spillways, diversion channels, pipelines, etc.) and other associated infrastructure for the Mining and Energy Resources Sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement field investigation programs
  • Analyze and design mine waste management facilities using software packages such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, MUK3D, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, drawings, specifications, presentations and bills of quantities using MS Office software and AutoCAD
Requirements:
  • Registered or eligible to register as a Professional Engineer
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the mining or related industries
