Expert Undercarriage Consultant

This role is perfect for a motivated and experienced professional who can drive profitable parts and service revenue, while also contributing to the growth of Caterpillar branded parts. As an expert in specialized parts and service marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that meet the needs of our customers.

Job Duties:
  1. As an Expert Undercarriage Consultant, you will be the go-to person for technical expertise and advice on undercarriage components and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the evolving needs of our customers.
  2. Develop and execute business strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer satisfaction. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and creating and implementing effective sales plans.
  3. Collaborate with global partners, districts, dealers, and customers to implement services marketing activities and drive parts growth. This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  4. Work across various functional business units to achieve parts & services objectives. This includes analyzing data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to improve business performance.
  5. Represent aftermarket VOC & VOB to ensure that our customers' needs are met. This requires a deep understanding of customer requirements and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work with people from many different backgrounds and cultures, internally and externally, with the appropriate influence and ability to resolve differences.
  • Good human relations skills are required to develop a collaborative, cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the business unit.
  • Generally, requires extensive travel to understand regional or worldwide business conditions.
  • Incumbent has previous expertise within government agencies, national associations, dealers and/or customer groups.
Education and Experience:
  • University degree.
  • Understanding of UC parts marketing, UC product and/or field experiences.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders at all levels.
  • Broad business background, specific long-term product or industry knowledge and good communication skills.
