Full-Time Disability Support Worker

As a Disability Support Worker in Supported Independent Living (SIL), you will be providing support to individuals with disabilities, promoting independence and enabling them to live their best lives. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, and communication, as well as managing challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting clients with complex needs, including physical and verbal behaviors of concern
- Implementing person-centered active support and behavioral support plans
- Assisting clients with daily personal care routines, including bathing, shaving, and toileting
- Encouraging community participation and social inclusion
- Hold an unrestricted New South Wales driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Willingness to drive a company van for transportation
- Committed to working flexibly throughout the week, including public holidays
- Demonstrated competency in basic technology usage on mobile and desktop platforms
- A current First Aid Certificate, which includes the course HLTAID003 or HLTAID011 or willingness to obtain
