Senior Carpenter - Finishes Foreman

Our company is a leading NSW based property group with close to $1 billion of projects to be delivered across high rise residential, mixed use, commercial, retail and aged care.

The successful candidate will lead and push teams on site, managing the day-to-day activity in accordance with the programme and complying with business systems. They will ensure effective communication and teamwork through direct communications and on-site meetings.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day site activity in-accordance with the programme and comply with business systems
  • Manage the day-to-day activity of subcontractors and site labour to the project plan and project documentation
  • Ensuring a high level of communication and teamwork through direct communications and on-site meetings

Required skills and qualifications:

Essential Skills:
  • Trade background - Carpenter
  • Major Finishes experience
  • Apartments - Residential, commercial or retail experience from a tier 1,2 or 3 head contractor
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Foreman or Finishes Foreman on large scale projects
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Be a team player
